Cbd Cosmetic Application – Rejuvenate Your Skin

Cannabidiol (CBD) is commonly used to promote healthier skin and treat redness, acne or other common skin tissue disorders.

Considering all its properties, it makes sense that companies are increasingly developing topical solutions designed to care, treat and prevent skin alterations. There are many recipes and ways in which you can find them: emulsions, lotions, creams, infusions or serums. Whatever their shape, all of them already reach the market as promising solutions to achieve a healthier appearance of the skin.

Several studies have already shown that CBD has therapeutic properties but what exactly does CBD do to become an important ally of your facial cosmetics?

Relieves inflammation

Many of the redness and blemishes on your skin are the result of underlying inflammation processes. CBD is able to combat this inflammatory process by interaction with the recpeotors of the endocannabinoid system located in the skin. Do you remember that we discussed it in the previous post?. This can help relieve tissues that exhibit any inflammatory manifestations, including acne or psoriasis.

Treats atopic dermatitis

CBD oils contain a nutritional composition rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which may be able to help certain skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis. If you are interested in delving into this fact, you can visit the following article (1) which shows that hemp oil has been shown to relieve the symptoms of atopic dermatitis after its application over a period of 20 weeks.

Prevents the production of excess fat

One of the main factors responsible for acne is the overproduction of fat. CBD oil is able to restore our skin’s normal oil levels, through the regulation of the sebaceous glands without risk of clogging your pores (2).

This cannabinoid helps fight the signs of aging. CBD oil can help reduce certain expression lines as well as the manifestation of bags and dark circles in the eye contours, in addition to preventing their appearance.

Several studies argue that CBD acts as a potent antioxidant and may protect against glutamate-induced neurotoxicity processes, which is responsible for cell damage and death of tissues such as the skin (3). Antioxidant nutrients have per se very interesting anti-aging properties that help fight the oxidation of the structural components of our skin, fighting its exposure to free radicals. A facial treatment aimed at combating these oxidation phenomena is the guarantee for your skin to show a healthier, smoother and rejuvenated appearance.

We want to continue sharing with you much more about the potential of this ingredient. So far, we are satisfied with you associating CBD with cosmetic treatments to combat inflammatory and oxidative processes.
